ALAN WILKINSON
Managing Director, t-mac Technologies Ltd
Alan Wilkinson, has over 35 years experience in the electronics industry
encompassing all areas of design, engineering, manufacturing and operations. He
founded FAW Electronics Ltd in 1978 to design and manufacture electronic
control solutions applicable to a variety of industry sectors. The company is
based in the Midlands.
In September 2002, Alan led a team of design engineers to develop t-mac, an
Internet remote monitor and control device. Within two months of beginning the
development process, FAW Electronics was accredited with a SMART award from the
Department of Trade and Industry (DTi) for innovation, which provided the
company with a £75,000 grant to further develop the t-mac system.
In October 2004, Alan established t-mac Technologies Ltd with partner Irene,
daughter Lisa and son Jonathan to promote the t-mac brand to potential new
business markets.
Alan is responsible for business and product development and customer
relationship management for t-mac Technologies Ltd. As Managing Director of FAW
Electronics Ltd, he maintains full responsibility for the day-to-day operations
of the company including customer product and programme management, engineering
support, manufacturing operations and financial control.

LISA WILKINSON
Director of Business Development, t-mac Technologies Ltd
Lisa Wilkinson is a Director of Business Development for t-mac Technologies
Ltd with accountability for managing key target sectors, lead generation and
promoting business excellence. t-mac Technologies Ltd was established in
October 2004 to market and distribute the t-mac brand and its subsidiary
systems in partnership with FAW Electronics Ltd, one of the UK's leading
designers and manufacturers of customised electronic control solutions.
In addition to her role as Director at t-mac Technologies Ltd, Lisa maintains a
senior management role within FAW Electronics Ltd. She overseas the
implementation of the company's corporate and product communications and
marketing strategy. Lisa is also involved in the management of the day-to-day
departmental operations and ensures quality standard procedures are adhered to
for smooth and effective business processes.
Before joining FAW Electronics Ltd, Lisa worked for public relations agency
Weber Shandwick Scotland where she gained experience of working for clients in
the corporate, property and FMCG sectors. Prior to that, she worked for Burt
Greener Communications.
Lisa graduated with a BA Hons from Nottingham Trent University in Social
Science. She also holds an IPR diploma from Leeds Metropolitan University in
November 2003 and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations
(CIPR).
JONATHAN WILKINSON
Director of Software Innovations, t-mac Technologies Ltd
Jonathan Wilkinson joined FAW Electronics Ltd in 2002 as IT and Software
Manager with responsibility for programming and managing internal systems
applications in line with quality standards. In 2003, his role was extended to
include software design, architecture and development of customer projects,
including the lead developer of the JCB product range managing a team of two
software engineers.
Jonathan, along with t-mac Technologies Ltd company founder, Alan Wilkinson, has
been the driving force behind the design and development of the t-mac system.
In September 2004, Jonathan became Director of Software Innovations and, along
with his team continues to develop and coordinate the t-mac software and
hardware design process. He is also actively involved in assisting with the
business development side of the company.
Jonathan is a BSc Hons graduate in Computing and Management from Leeds
University.
